Shipment and Delivery
We are a community of farmers committed to bringing you the best of perishable farm produce, specifically Alphonso mangoes. Due to the nature of our products, we have a specialized policy for shipment, delivery, and cancellations. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully:
A. Perishable Nature of Products
- Perishable Products: Since we deal primarily in perishable fruits such as Alphonso mangoes, which cannot be stored for extended periods, returns are not accepted for any products unless they are damaged, crushed, or spoiled during transit. These fruits are processed specifically upon order placement, and as such, we do not stock large quantities.
- Order Cancellations: Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, cancellations are generally not allowed. However, in cases of natural calamities or unavoidable circumstances, we may consider postponing the order upon prior customer notification and if operationally feasible.
B. Pre-Orders
- Pre-Order Modifications: Customers who place pre-orders can make changes to their orders before shipment. Pre-orders will be processed and shipped based on availability within the designated shipping period. In case of any external challenges near our farms, such as natural calamities, we may postpone or cancel the orders.
C. Shipping Schedule
- Shipment Days: We ship all orders Monday to Thursday every week. Holidays falling on these days may lead to a delay in shipping due to logistics and potential delays at courier hubs, which could impact the ripening process of the mangoes.
- Delivery Time: Orders are generally shipped within 1 day at Mumbai, 2 working days across Maharashtra, 3-4 working days across India but can take up to 7-10 working days for International orders, depending on the number of orders and external factors. The final delivery date will also depend on the courier company's or postal authorities' timelines.
D. Delivery Guarantee
- Delivery Responsibility: We guarantee the handover of your order to the courier company or our delivery persons within specified working days of order and payment confirmation. However, delivery delays caused by external factors like courier delays, natural calamities or vehicle breakdown issues are beyond our control.
- Delivery Address: All deliveries are made to the address provided during checkout, not to a specific person or time.
E. Damaged or Delayed Products
- Damaged Goods: In case the product is damaged (e.g., crushed, pressed, or squeezed) during transit, customers must send a picture and relevant details (e.g., order number, delivery date) to us within 2 days of delivery. After verification, a refund or replacement will be arranged at our sole discretion.
- Late Delivery: If an order is delayed by more than specified days from the dispatched date, and the mangoes are in poor condition, a replacement will be arranged based on availability.
F. Shipping and Delivery Limitations
- Shipping Locations: For international orders, there are some restrictions, and we reserve the right to cancel any such orders. In such cases, a full refund will be processed.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping is free across Mumbai only and at reasonable transport cost across India unless stated otherwise or informed by us before shipping. International shipping cost includes export fees, local transport cost, packaging / loading and cargo charges at buyer’s expense.
- Octroi Charges: Some states may levy an Octroi charge when the product enters the state. The customer will need to pay this charge directly to the courier at the time of delivery.
G. Non-Delivery and Re-Delivery
- Mistakes in Address: If non-delivery occurs due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer, any extra cost incurred for re-delivery will be charged to the customer.
- Chargeback or Payment Dispute: No deliveries will be made if the customer disputes the payment or initiates a chargeback transaction with our payment gateway or bank. Products will be held until the payment dispute is resolved and confirmation of payment is received from the bank.
H. Shipping Weight and Rates
- Shipping Rates: Shipping rates are based on the weight of the product and the exact shipping cost will be provided during checkout. The weight of any item is listed on the invoice, and shipping costs will be calculated based on the total weight of the order.
